Always a great experience at garozzos, usually go to the one downtown but the one in overland park is just as good. Highly recommended

Customer service deserves a 5* alone. Waiter was great at explaining the specials of the day and promptly got us our drinks from the bar. Lights were dim, not overly noisy even though it was a busy night. Ended up getting the Mike's diet chicken and my date got the wedge salad. The diet chicken comes with shrimp as well with a tomato based sauce with spinach and garlic. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and would 100% order again. Big shout out to Seth for being our waiter and making the night a great one.

Went to Garozzo's with my family last night and had a really tasty meal. I got the Chicken Vincenzo at the recommendation of fellow Yelpers and I'm happy to report it was DELICIOUS. First taste is a little strange because it's sweet but then your tastebuds adjust and it becomes quite balanced and it's SO addictive. To backtrack a bit, since I was last in, they've redecorated the space. I do wish they'd redo the ugly floor but I know they'd have to be closed for several days and spend thousands for a new floor. That said, it's an inviting space. We had a reservation when we arrived at 5:30 - we didn't need one but the host led us to our table right away. The waiter was there almost too promptly as we had a wobbly chair and rearranged seats - so when he came out we literally were just sitting down - which was a bit jarring. Not necessarily a bad thing, but he probably could have waited a minute or 2 for us to look at the menu before asking what we wanted to drink and if we wanted appetizers. They have such great bread there, but the little foil wrapped butter is an old-school thing that they could retire. Once we were ready to order, my dad got the chicken spedini and my mom got some pasta with meatballs. A little before our food came out, our waiter asked if we wanted more bread - we said no thank you, since we were already carboloading, and he still brought it anyway. He was a decent waiter but just felt like he was on auto-pilot. That said, food was delicious and the service was prompt. So while I didn't give 5 stars, I couldn't complain about the food or even really the service. Just wasn't a full 5 star experience but I thought it was quite good.

Visited for restaurant week. Loved the vibes. All the portraits on the wall and dim lit setting. Started with a fresh salad before savoring the mouthwatering Spiedini Di Pollo, perfectly grilled and topped with your choice of Garozzo, Gabriella, or Samantha sauce--my personal favorite!

This was my first Garazzo's experience, and it was very nice overall. We had reservations for a Monday slot, and I was surprised to see how busy the restaurant was. We were seated promptly, and our waiter was helpful and kind throughout our visit. The toasted ravioli and lasagna were tasty. The lasagna's presentation wasn't the absolute best, as there were splatters all over the edges of the plate, and for that kind of money, you want the experience to be close to perfect. However, the food was absolutely delicious and lasted two meals, so the money was well spent. I would come here again. This seems to be KC's favorite Italian restaurant. I figured there was some St. Louis inspiration with toasted ravioli and a special called "The Hill." It was nice to see some inspiration from where the owner grew up. I want to try the other KC location at some point to get a full experience and see which one is my go-to. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish!

This place is delicious and amazing. We went on a weekday evening without a reservation and were able to be seated right away, but the place was still packed. It wasn't too loud. The decor was very Italian. Our waiter was excellent and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend, especially if you need to take some people somewhere for a corporate meal.

Attended a company dinner party here in their private dining hall. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Quite extensive cocktails and wines selection. I had a limoncellotini drink for the very first time. It was great. After our drink, we went in the private dining hall. Everything was setup just like a formal wedding rehearsal dinner party. There was a dinner menu card for 4 courses meal. We started off with fresh warm bread dip in olive oil. Follow by salad, Insalata Casa. A choice of one of the 3 entree: Tortelloni Gina, Linguine Alla Fruitti or Baked Lasagna. I chosed the Linguine Alla Frutti di Mare. For dessert, we had their Limoncello Torte. Everything we had was fabulous. The staffs did a wonderful job serving a large group, bringing out each courses to the different tables. I highly recommend this place for your special event or occasion.

We came here for a work event. The entire evening was fantastic. The service was great! I was a little apprehensive about the premade menu, but we all loved the food choices. The pasta, the chicken... it was all delicious! Great food, great service!

Friday night dinner date to the end of a looooong week. Wanted to relax with a glass of wine and that's just what we did. Staff were attentive and gave great advice. Chose the classic chicken Spiedini and Rigatoni Angela. It's served with a fork but you'll need a spoon. Both were tasty, flavorful although the rigatoni was soupy and we both thought maybe the lasagna next time. Crusty warm bread and butter is my kryptonite. Throw in the sauce and wine, forget about it. There's no denying the chemistry.
